Deli lunch will be provided on site, since the tournament overlaps lunch hours!
Entry fee is $20 per person to cover venue, food, and prizes.
If you are not an AGA member, there will be an additional $10 tournament fee. If you would like a $15 annual membership instead, let me know and I‘ll send the promotional offer.

4-round AGA-rated tournament. 30 min, then 5 x 30-sec overtime. Each division has 3-5 players and beautiful medals with engraving will be awarded to all division winners. Entry fee: $15. Free parking and plenty of spots.

9-10am by James Park 6D on common shapes/Tesuji and AI opening. (Fee: $10; first timer: $5)
Registration 9:30-10am ET
Round 1: 10:20am
Round 2: 12:30pm
Round 3: 2:30pm

The 2024 Chicago Open, organized by the Evanston Go Club, will be held over Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-26. With 7 rounds over 2 days, we offer you the most intense tournament experience in the country. Come for the chance to play serious games and reunite with your go-playing friends!
Medals and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers of each division. First place overall wins the 2023 Chicago Open trophy and a cash prize of at least $600.
