Jeremy Chiu was the top winner at the Golden Gate Go Tournament last Saturday, May 20th. The San Francisco Go Club, a bastion of go history – it predates the completion of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge -- and community, served as the venue, bringing together “passionate players for a day of strategic battles and delightful camaraderie,” the club reports.
Amidst the spirited gameplay by participants of all skill levels, attendees were treated to “culinary delight(s) provided by the renowned Boudin Bakery,” as “the scent of clam chowder sourdough bread bowls and sandwiches mingled with the anticipation in the air, creating an ambiance that catered to both the mind and the palate.”
