The New York Institute of Go will host the 4th New York State Go Championship on April 11–12, 2026, at its Hell’s Kitchen location in Midtown Manhattan. This prestigious tournament invites players of all ages and skill levels to compete for cash prizes and trophies, with a top prize of $1,200.

The championship will also determine the 2026 New York State Open Champion and New York Youth Champion, both of whom will receive exclusive championship trophies. Participants may register for one or both days, with a tournament capacity of 120 players. Early-bird registration is available until March 31, and final registration will close on April 8.

In addition to the main tournament, Saturday evening will feature community activities, including Pair Go and self-rated games, providing an opportunity for players to connect and enjoy the Go community.
